e-Max electric scooter
This is a new electric scooter designed by a German company (manufactured in China) that has really perked up interest among the electric vehicle enthusiasts.
It is now available and several people have received their bikes. Early reports are great, and that the claimed performance (speed and range) are accurate and that the build quality is excellent. All for a small and very affordable scooter.
The specifications say it gets up to 35-40 mile range and can go over 40 miles/hr speed. I suppose you can't do both at the same time, as usual for electric vehicles.
One unique thing is that the batteries are using a silicone chemistry rather than one of the previously known chemistries such as lead, nickel, or lithium. The maker claims all sorts of environmental benefits.
